The professional services vehicle's unrestricted track now has 711 primes involved and the small business portions are also adding more companies.
The General Services Administration has made a new round of selections across five tracks of OASIS+, the massive government-wide contract vehicle for professional services not tech-centric in nature.
One set of 11 awards is final as these are for the unrestricted track of OASIS+, which is increasing to 711 primes. GSA said Tuesday it plans to send this group of 11 formal notices-to-proceed as early as Sept. 23, with ordering opportunities available the following day.
OASIS+ four tracks are set-aside for small businesses and GSA announced 15 firms as apparent awardees, also on Friday.
The breakdown of new small business choices is as follows:
- Seven in the general SB track
- Four in the service-disabled/veteran-owned track
- Three in the woman-owned track
- One in the HUBZone track
With those unveilings, the window is now open for protests over whether these companies are in fact small businesses or not.
In all of its Friday notices, GSA reiterated that it continues to evaluate proposals as part of a rolling awards process for this new 10-year vehicle and for companies to remain patient if they are not on any of the lists yet.
The 8(a) small business track is the subject of a protest from McCallie Associates, which filed to the Government Accountability Office on Aug. 22 after not being selected. A decision on that protest is due by Dec. 1.
CWS FMTI, a joint venture of Computer World Services Corp. and Fusion MasTech,. filed a protest in late August at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims saying that GSA was wrong to eliminate the company from both the 8(a) and HUBZone competitions. A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 9.
OASIS+ has an official count of 2,823 total small business winners that are competing for task orders.
