Commerce awards $150M advisory support pact

The Commerce Department lists customer experience management and enterprise architecture as key areas it wants industry support in developing strategies for.

The Commerce Department has awarded five companies positions on a five-year, $150 million blanket purchase agreement for advisory and integrated management consulting services across the enterprise.

Commerce uses the pact to acquire industry support for executive leaders, plus program and project managers and their administrative staff, in work to develop various types of plans and strategies for the department.

Commerce awarded the Advisory and Integrated Management Solutions BPA on Friday and received 43 bids for it, according to Federal Procurement Data System Records

FPDS identifies these companies as winners so far:

  • 2ndWave
  • Amdex
  • BNL
  • ProGov Partners
  • Savvee

Given the nature of BPAs, more awards could be in the works and we will update this list of winners if need be. Commerce reserved the competition for small businesses only.

A 2022 request for information on AIMS spells out these areas as key points of emphasis for the program:

  • Customer experience management
  • Enterprise architecture strategy
  • Facilities management
  • Financial management
  • Leadership development
  • Organizational change management
  • Organizational development
  • Outsourcing and business process reengineering
  • Performance measurement and reporting
  • Security management
  • Shared services design and operations

Awardees will also work with Commerce leaders on the development and implementation of technology strategies that relate to new or evolving programs, plus the transition of operational activities.
