Air Force picks 3 for $1.9B in aerospace program support work

The Air Force has awarded three companies a set of task orders with a combined $1.9 billion ceiling over up to five years for technical and management advisory support services.

Aventis won two task orders that have a combined maximum value of $847.3 million, while a third order to Gauss Management Research and Engineering is worth up to $115.9 million. Task order number four to Odyssey Systems has a ceiling of $934.1 million.

The Pentagon’s Monday contract awards digest describes the scope of work as covering aerospace research, development, and test-and-evaluation activities. The number of bidders was not disclosed in that listing.

The Air Force made these selections as part of its Technical and Management Advisory Services 3 program, or TMAS 3, which was competed through the government-wide OASIS+ Small Business vehicle for professional services.

Gauss appears to be the lone TMAS 2 incumbent that will continue on to the new iteration, with Aventis and Odyssey entering as newcomers. Oasis Systems (now Astrion) and Torch Technologies are the other incumbents on the current program that is slated to expire in September, according to Deltek data.
