CISA tees up cyber hygiene recompete

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is setting up what it calls a “unified, scalable, and modernized mission support vehicle."
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has provided industry a timeline for its plan to conduct the recompete of a contract for integrated assessment and hygiene support services.
CISA plans to award the work as a task order via the Alliant 2 IT solutions and services vehicle and release a final solicitation on or around Jan. 30. The order’s ceiling value is poised exceed $100 million as its scope will expand from the current contract, CISA said in a Wednesday notice to the Acquisition Planning Forecast System.
NTT Data’s federal services subsidiary is the incumbent after having first won the work in 2020, then securing an extension earlier this year with a March 2027 expiration date. CISA has obligated $41.6 million in order volume to-date, according to GovTribe data.
The agency describes the new Integrated Cybersecurity Assessments and Hygiene Support Services requirement as a “unified, scalable, and modernized mission support vehicle” to aid CISA’s vulnerability management subdivision.
CISA is seeking to acquire industry support for technical assessments, cyber hygiene services, operational assessments and other enablement activities.
