Serco hires Supplee to lead North American arm

Barbara Supplee will now lead Serco North America's strategy centered around areas like autonomy and modernization, among others.
Serco Group has hired a new chief executive for its North American subsidiary in Barbara Supplee, a three-decade industry veteran and former executive vice president at Science Applications International Corp.
Supplee will start her new position on Sept. 28 and succeed Michael LaRouche, who is leaving to take up the CEO position at KBR’s government spinoff now being called Trinzic.
In joining Serco North America, Supplee will lead a business that employs roughly 10,000 people and generated close to $2 billion in revenue for 2025. That translates to around 20% of Serco Group’s global workforce and 30% of the overall sales mix.
Serco North America ranked at No. 27 in the 2026 Washington Technology Top 100 rankings with $1.5 billion in unclassified prime obligations.
The subsidiary’s current strategy emphasizes autonomy, command and control, systems engineering and integration, and modernization as key priorities. Over recent years, Serco North America has pushed to expand its technical portfolio and move further into higher-end services.
Supplee most recently led SAIC’s portfolio of Army, Navy and Marine Corps programs in her EVP role there. Her career also includes senior leadership roles at CACI International and BAE Systems’ U.S. subsidiary.
