SES Government Solutions completes one item on its integration to-do list.

SES' U.S. government subsidiary has finalized its initial set of executive leadership assignments amid the ongoing integration of the satellite network operator's most recent acquisition.

Nitin Bhat, Scott Galus and Luz Martinez all transition to new senior vice president positions at SES Government Solutions from their previous roles at Leonardo DRS now that the transaction has closed involving the business unit they formerly worked at.

Reston, Virginia-headquartered SES GS said Tuesday that Bhat was named senior VP of engineering, while Galus will hold a similar title for operations and Martinez leading finance.

“These new appointments will energize our organization and enable us to deliver best-in-class integrated solutions and state-of-the-art multi-orbit satellite networking capabilities to the U.S. government," SES GS CEO David Fields said in a release.

SES GS acquired the DRS Global Enterprise Solutions unit in August for $450 million to further build out managed service offerings for government users of multiple satellite networks.
