Alpha Omega

Rajiv Gidadhubli has taken up the role of chief artificial intelligence transformation officer following the January acquisition of Micro Solutions, where he was its chief transformation officer.

Gidadhubli now oversees Alpha Omega’s enterprise AI strategy for the market and brings 34 years of experience to the role.

Prior to Micro Solutions, he worked as a vice president of consulting at CGI Federal and led a 500-person team focused on enterprise resource planning systems.

ASRC Federal

Ann Stevens has joined the government services company as chief strategy officer following 23 years at Boeing.

Now at ASRC Federal, Stevens will be responsible for aligning its operating groups and investments with the company’s overall vision.

She most recently led a 3,000-person team at Boeing responsible for developing maritime and intelligence systems.

In addition to Stevens, ASRC Federal also hired former ICF business development leader David Yang as vice president of BD for the civilian and health group.

BAE Systems Inc.

Tara Olivet will move up to senior vice president of finance at the defense company’s U.S. subsidiary on June 7 following two decades in other roles across the global enterprise.

She succeeds Dan Sallet, who will support special projects until his retirement in January after 35 years at BAE. Olivet most recently worked as deputy SVP of finance and before that as VP of finance for the platforms and services sector.

BAE Systems Inc. employs 40,000 people and posted $16.85 billion in revenue for 2024.

BigBear.ai

Sean Ricker started as interim chief financial officer on June 6 following Julie Peffer’s departure from the artificial intelligence integrator after three years as its CFO.

During Peffer’s tenure, BigBear combined with Pangiam and undertook several efforts to bolster its balance sheet including capital fundraising and debt restructuring.

Ricker joined BigBear shortly after its public listing in 2021 and most recently worked as chief accounting officer.

Cryptic Vector

John Fant has joined the offensive cybersecurity and electronic warfare tech specialist as chief growth officer, slightly less than a year after Enlightenment Capital’s initial investment.

The 25-year national security market veteran will lead functions related to business development and opportunity identification, among others.

Fant most recently worked as senior vice president of business development at BlueHalo, which AeroVironment acquired in May for $4.1 billion. His career also includes senior roles at Eqlipse, Lockheed Martin and Peraton.

OSC Edge

Carol Moore has joined the IT engineering and cybersecurity provider as chief operating officer, making her the second major hire within a month following Michael Ellerbe’s appointment as president.

A two-decade federal market veteran, Moore will oversee daily operations and longer-term strategic initiatives at OSC Edge.

Like Ellerbe, Moore is a two-decade veteran of NTT Data’s U.S. federal subsidiary and its predecessor businesses. She also worked a stint at A-T Solutions, where she focused on civilian agencies.

Quantum Space

The three-year-old startup has been busy over the past month, highlighted by its closure of a $40 million extension to its Series A investment round that now totals $57 million.

But prior to that, Quantum Space hired former Missile Defense Agency program executive Richard Matlock as senior vice president for national security space programs.

Matlock will lead the company’s push to multi-orbit defense systems, which are seen as the foundation for the Golden Dome missile defense shield.

His four-decade Defense Department career also includes service as director of the special program for missile defense, a role residing within the  Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions

Dr. Jeffrey “Jeff” Griffin is now president and chief executive for this Fluor-HII joint venture that manages and operates the Energy Department’s Savannah River site near Aiken, South Carolina.

He is a Fluor vice president and 35-year nuclear industry veteran, whose career includes service as associate principal deputy assistant energy secretary. In that role, he led field operations for the department’s Office of Environmental Management.

Griffin succeeds Dennis Carr, who has led SRNS since 2003 and is retiring after a 44-year nuclear industry career. SRNS’ responsibilities at the site include environmental cleanup  and protection, waste storage and disposition, operation of the U.S’ only tritium plant, and design and construction of a plutonium processing facilities.

SMX

Scott Barr has joined the digital transformation company as chief operating officer to help oversee key initiatives in growth and execution.

Barr will be responsible for optimizing SMX’s operational performance, scaling the delivery of offerings and focusing on outcomes for customers.

The 25-year market veteran most recently led the technology consulting division at Maximus. Prior to that, he worked in senior roles at Sierra7 and Booz Allen Hamilton.

SMX is controlled and managed by OceanSound Partners, while also having the backing of an Apollo Group continuation fund.

Tria Federal

Diana Ceban has taken up the role of executive vice president for strategic initiatives and market expansion at the digital services company, where she will be responsible for current client relationships and forming new ones.

Ceban first joined the company back in the fall to lead its military and veteran health business.

Prior to Tria, the two-decade market veteran worked as a vice president at Science Applications International Corp. and focused on health programs there.

ScanTech AI Systems

Brad Buswell, most recently a senior vice president at Leidos, started on Monday as chairman of the security scanning equipment maker’s board of directors after having first joined the panel in January.

ScanTech AI undertook its public listing in January as part of efforts to fetch more capital from investors in support of its expansion aims.

Buswell’s SVP role at Leidos was focused on security enterprise solutions for aviation and critical infrastructure programs. He is also a former CEO of Morpho Detection and president of Rapiscan North America.

The three-decade veteran’s career also includes service as deputy undersecretary for science and technology at the Homeland Security Department.
