ASRC Federal has promoted a new chief executive from within its own ranks in Mike Manzo, a three-decade industry veteran who has led its defense and intelligence operating group since 2025.
The company said Friday that Manzo’s appointment takes effect immediately and he succeeds Jennifer Felix, who previously led ASRC Federal as CEO for six years. Felix first joined the company in 2019 as chief operating officer, then became CEO in the spring of 2020.
Her tenure as CEO started with a rebranding initiative and included a pair of acquisitions, with the first purchase involving Science Applications International Corp.’s logistics and supply chain business in early 2023 for $350 million. One month later, ASRC Federal acquired Broadleaf to add more technology and professional services for defense agencies.
In the fall of 2023, Felix appeared on our WT 360 podcast to describe the rationale behind those transactions and the company’s philosophy for helping agencies incorporate tech into supply chain management functions.
Manzo joined ASRC Federal in the spring of 2025 as president of the defense and intelligence operating group after spending the entirety of his career at General Dynamics.
His long career at General Dynamics included leadership roles in both the IT services and mission systems business units. He led GDIT’s national security sector business for three years before joining ASRC Federal.
ASRC Federal hit position No. 36 on the 2026 Washington Technology Top 100 rankings, up 11 spots from the prior year, on $1.7 billion in unclassified prime contract obligations.
