Awardees will aid the Navy's largest shore command, which bases 24,000 uniformed and civilian personnel around the world.
Seven companies have won positions on a potential five-and-a-half year, $240 million contract to provide products and services to support the Navy’s training programs.
Navy officials received 31 bids in total for the contract that covers an initial five-year base period and a six-month option that would extend work to January 2031, the Pentagon said in its Wednesday awards digest.
Awardees that will vie for task orders are as follows:
- C2 Technologies
- Carley Corp.
- Chitra Productions
- Crew Training International
- HII
- Janus Research Group
- Transtecs Corp.
Solicitation documents issued in August 2023 describe the contract’s core work areas as including curriculum planning, analysis and development services, computer modeling and simulation, and the creation of part task trainers.
Work will aid the Naval Education Training Command, the service branch’s largest shore command that includes 24,000 uniformed and civilian personnel around the world.
The Navy estimates approximately 33,000 soldiers are learning at one of 251 NETC training sites on a given day.
