Find opportunities — and win them.

The Defense Logistics Agency begins an open season to get some initial markers of interest from companies not on the contract.

The Defense Logistics Agency has started its search for more companies to join a potential 10-year $3.2 billion contract first awarded in 2023 for equipment and other services to support “C5ISR” systems.

DLA set up the C5ISR Gateway to Sustainment contract, also known as G2S, to primarily support the Army and also be available to other defense and civilian agencies.

In releasing a market survey Wednesday, DLA is taking the first step in launching an open season for the contract and detailing its overarching goals for future acquisition activity.

Supply chain agility and responsiveness is among those priorities for DLA, along with cooperation and collaboration with the Defense Department in both strategic and working group settings.

Responses to the market survey are due Sept. 30.

A total of 11 companies vie for task orders to provide standard and non-standard equipment for systems used in command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

Roughly $738.6 million in order volume has flowed through the G2S contract since it was opened for business in the spring of 2023, according to GovTribe data. Fairwinds Technologies and Atlantic Diving Supply are the two largest recipients of that spend at 70% combined.
