The Homeland Security Department uses this blanket purchase agreement to acquire support for all aspects of its IT environment used by 15,000 employees.

CACI International has won a potential five-year, $983 million blanket purchase agreement to continue providing IT infrastructure and end-user services across the Homeland Security Department.

DHS awarded the Desktop Support Services 3.0 pact on Wednesday and received 30 bids in total for it, according to Federal Procurement Data System records.

The department designed DSS 3.0 for its office of the chief information officer to continue acquiring support for all aspects of its IT environment inclusive of workstations, data centers, cloud environments and mission applications.

A sources sought notice issued in February describes how CACI’s work under the pact covers approximately 15,000 DHS employees and the department’s objective for transitioning to a flexible and zero-touch regional customer support experience.

DHS’ priorities under the new BPA include adopting a mobile-first approach, increasing collaboration across teams, taking a comprehensive approach for artificial intelligence adoption, utilizing cloud computing resources and continuing business transformation efforts.

CACI won the prior DSS 2.0 pact in 2020 and has been obligated $678 million in order volume to-date since, according to GovTribe data.
